PhD position in the area of 3D nanoprinting artificial skin and organs:
Self-funded students for a Ph.D. position are welcome to apply. The prototype of a novel 3D nanoprinter will be used to fabricate stretchable self-healing, skin-like materials and scaffolds with STEM cells for making artificial skin and organs. PhD position in the area of energy storage systems
Self-funded students from all over the world are welcome to apply for a Ph.D. position in the field of nanostructured batteries, fuel cells and supercapacitors. Funding needs to cover both tuition fee & living expense in the UK.
For Chinese applicants I can recommend the CSC/University of Edinburgh scholarship that can fully fund the Ph.D. program. It's not open for 2017/18 applications yet, but should be open within a few months. Please note that it's very competitive!
Post-doctoral positions in the area nanostructured materials
Self-funded post-doctoral applicants or are welcome to apply to the group. I am willing to help with applications for scholarships that can fully fund a post-doctoral training for at least 1 year. The proposal area should be anything related to nanostructured materials.
